“Moooom, I’m hungry!” It’s Friday, and all of the popular snack bars are gone…our family shopping day is Saturday. That means it is time to pull together ingredients to make something. For something quick and easy, I recommend energy balls. You don’t have to cook anything, and they are ready in 5-10 minutes.
Energizing Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 2/3 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 cups ground flaxseed meal
- 2 tbls chia seeds
- 1/2 cupa semisweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 cups creamy peanut butter recommend sugar and oil free
- 1/3 cups honey
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients above into a large bowl.
- Mix up all of the ingredients (We use our hands!)
- Shape the mixture into balls that are about 2 inches thick.
- Store the energy balls in the refrigerator. Wait until cold for best taste and texture!
