If you are in the mood for a sweet treat that makes you feel good too, look no further than this chocolate peanut butter smoothie. This smoothie has been a go-to recipe in my family for many years. It’s one of those rare treats that is not only made with whole ingredients, but also one that everyone in my family loves, to include my two kiddos. My husband, Colin, and I have tweaked it over the years, and it’s really good! I like to drink this smoothie when I’m in the mood for something sweet. Sometimes I’ll even add in a few extra dates if I want it to be sweeter and a bit more like ice cream.
It is worth mentioning that I’ve always made this smoothie with a Vitamix, which is a high-speed blender. I’m not sure how it would turn out if you use a different blender. I would highly recommend investing into a Vitamix if you drink a lot of smoothies. It’s one of my favorite kitchen products. This is beginning to sound like an ad, but I swear it’s not. I mean I only have like two followers right now (literally!) haha. It’s just that good of a product!
Okay, enough with the Vitamix love fest! I hope you guys enjoy the smoothie. Feel free to tag me or let me know if you try it. I’d love to know how it turns out. Cheers!
